OMT is the leading naval ship designer and shipyard advisor in Denmark. With a focus on excellence, innovation, and collaboration, we develop and provide solutions for maritime defence in Denmark and globally. Currently, more than 20 naval ships are ordered for construction based on our designs.

As we continue to expand our pipeline and portfolio of new projects and opportunities, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offset Manager to drive and further develop our collaboration with key industry partners. 

Position Overview:

As Offset Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing partnerships with strategic key industry partners. Your primary focus will be to develop new projects that combine and leverage the offerings of both OMT and our industry partners, ultimately adding value to our naval customers. This role requires a combination of business development, innovation, strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of offset programmes and naval technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key naval customers. Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.
• Industry Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key industry partners, suppliers, and stakeholders. In particular, you will proactively engage with these to develop project opportunities for our naval end-customers and key industry partners.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, offset programmes, and naval technologies that may offer business opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analyses.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you bring:

• Experience with business development. Preferably from the naval defence industry – alternatively from the maritime industry.
• An analytical and innovative mindset.
• A strong understanding of the naval ship industry, offset programmes, and knowledge of naval systems and related technologies.
• A solid professional network within the naval and/or maritime industry. A strong network within the Danish Defence is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Danish being an advantage.
• The willingness to travel internationally as needed.
