Odense Maritime Technology is one of the country’s leading specialist consultancy firms with expertise in all disciplines related to the design and construction of the most efficient ships for naval and civilian purposes. In the coming years, Odense Maritime Technology, in close collaboration with other leading international technology companies, will play a central role in addressing at least two important societal tasks: the development and construction of new patrol vessels contributing to Denmark’s security and environmentally-friendly ferries supporting regional mobility.

International Key Account Manager for Naval Ships  

OMT is Denmark’s leading naval ship designer and shipyard advisor. With a focus on excellence, innovation and collaboration, we develop and provide solutions for maritime defence in Denmark and globally, and currently more than 16 naval ships and four shipyard factories are being constructed based on order design.

As we continue to expand our pipeline and portfolio of new projects and opportunities, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Key Account Manager to drive success in managing and cultivating relationships with our international naval customers and strategic partners. 

Position Overview:

As the International Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with our international key partners and naval customers. Your primary focus will be on understanding their unique needs, fostering partnerships and ensuring the successful delivery of our state-of-the-art naval solutions and products. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of naval technologies.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key naval customers on an international scale. Understand customer requirements, anticipate needs and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of our products and services.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the naval industry. Collaborate with partners to enhance our product offerings and expand market reach.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the international naval market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of naval customers.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and regulatory changes that may impact international naval customers. Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis.


Your background is founded in a civilian or military career, where you can demonstrate:

  • Experience with Key Account Management, preferably with a focus on international naval customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of naval systems and technologies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
