FRIGATES IN THE MAKING

We are excited being a partner with Babcock International Group across a number of its Arrowhead frigrate programmes, where a total of ten capable Arrowhead 140 frigrates are currently being constructed for Royal Navy in UK (Type 31), Poland (Miecznik) and Indonesia (Merah Putih). 

For the UK Type 31 programme, steel cutting has already been made for the first three frigates. And HMS Venturer, the first of the Type 31 frigates, is nearing structural completion at the Babcock Rosyth facilities in Scotland. 

These frigates under construction are a tangible proof of the naval defence capabilities being provided via the Arrowhead 140 programmes.

Arrowhead 140 is a multi-role frigate, equipped to meet the maritime threats of today and tomorrow and the needs and wants of the modern sailor no matter where in the world they operate.
